Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

When I open the lid, my laptop comes on automatically

Matthew, when you say your laptop comes on when you open the lid, are you shutting down your laptop or just putting it to sleep?

If you want your laptop to shut down when you close the lid:

Click your Start Button, type control and select Control Panel form the list

In Control Panel, go to Power Options

In Power Options on the left,click 'Choose what closing the lid does'

Set that to 'Shut down', click 'Apply/OK'

Thanq so much for replying to my question.

I used the same website and I tried all the guidelines given by them.

But after doing so, when I shut down the laptop, it doesn't switch on when I open the lid. It only switches on once I press the power button.

It would be gr8 if any1 would give me the proper step-by-step guidelines on switching on the laptop by opening the lid.
