    To use Cortana, I suggest you to select region as US.

    Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. I suggest you to do Soft Reset your Windows phone. Soft Reset will not remove anything from your phone and it is completely safe to attempt in any problem

    If the issue still persist, I recommend you to performed hard reset by following the above link.

    No thanks Cliff. I don't have cortana fully enabled. I just like to use the built in desktop search on occasion.

    The idea of a virtual assistant is really appealing (Samantha in 'Her') but the knowledge that all the related data is in someone elses possession, not mine, is unacceptable.

    I just want a small visual tweak to my desktop *Wink
