Windows 10: Can i reset my local account password without reseting my pc completly ?

( not fluent english speaker,sorry for mistakes )

So here is my problem i lost my current local account password a while ago fortunatly i had also a pin as a plus so i can still login in my pc but now the thing is i cant do some action cuz some require the password and not the pin so i search a bit and with what i have found is that the only ways of reseting my password is either if i had a "flash usb something" (idk the exact name) or have security question wich ofc i dont have and it seems that only answer that is left is to complitly reset my pc and its kinda a big deal for me i dont understand Sh*t about pc software,hardware etc... i just bought one asked my cousin to make it worked then i installed game and played,so my question is the title can i reset it in some way without having to reset everything ? and even if i cant i reather hear it from a human being that some weird article on the internet.

And no i dont have a microsoft account not anymore i created one today but to use the account i need to put my local password one last time wich i dont know it
