    Can I restore a backup between laptops?


    I installed an update yesterday that made my PC more useless than a **** turd, and I'm going to back that data up for when I send it to Asus, they're probably going to send a new unit.Can I restore the backup to the new unit?Will the backup be everything I had before?

    Free hard drive backup/restore program?

    I am looking for a free (freeware) program that will back up and restore a hard drive. I'm looking to clone a few external hard drives. If the program will backup the used space instead of the whole drive this will be awesome! Thanks for any suggestions.

    backup and restore

    sorry abought getting back to you. I have a backup setup every Sunday at 11pm. last successful backup was in January, error ( backup volume inaccessible ) error code ( 0x807800c5 ) the laptop new with win 8, upgraded to 8.1 then 10
