Windows 10: can i revert the file explorer to before the KB5032190 update

The new home page looks ugly to me, with no size settings, favorites being forced into content view instead of tile, and the oversized tiles in quick access.There's also the practical problem of not being able to drag files into the address bar to move them up parent directories. In fact, you can't move files at all! You can only copy them places! That's stupid!

Default to Large Icon in Windows 10 File Explorer reverting

Hi Dave, and thanks for responding to my post.

I have done as you suggest in your post and File Explorer show Large Icons across the board and stays that way for a while, but then it reverts to a mix of Large Icons, List, Details etc.

Is there a way I can ensure it stays on Large Icons until such time as I choose to change it?

• Delete all the files.
• After deleting the files kindly try and see if there's a thumbnail preview of your files.

Reverting setting for File Explorer

Deleting files from recycle bin should not require any changes to file explorer settings. Are you following any other process for the said cleaning of files? If yes could you post a link to the guide you are following so that we can mention any steps to revert the settings for the same?
