Windows 10: Can I safely disable OneDrive? If that won't adversely affect the computer, how do I do that?

I'm old school, I want to save on my computer, not on the Internet!I am a private person and I strongly feel opposed to being forced to save and / or share miscellaneous folders and files on the Internet.It doesn't matter what the system is called, call it OneDrive for Microsoft or iCloud for Apple etc., the name in it self has no value for me, thus it's totally irrelevant.I have no advanced IT skills, I basically press start on the computer and expect it to work.I stream TV and radio on the Internet, I read various newspapers in different languages, I do private work in, for
