Can I safely remove every partition on my hard disk drive and clean install windows 10?

This is what I think I should do:

    1. Wipe all partitions I can from diskpart and disk management.

    2. Boot from windows 10 installation usb

    3. Wipe every partition from there then clean install.

Screenshot of the partitions (volumes) on my disk:

Vol 0 = rw dvd drive I have installed in my computer

Vol 1 = Some windows recovery drive or somethin. When windows 10 installed i'm pretty sure it creates another copy of this so yeah

Vol 2 = Partition that windows 10 is installed in currently.

    Vol 3 = ext4 linux partition.

Vol 4 = OEM Recovery. I've heard that deleting this then going into windows makes it unable to factory reset the computer. Not going to need that anyways.

Vol 5 = Boot EFI Partition. the partition that has all the boot loaders installed like the windows boot manager, grub2. This would make my computer unbootable, so i can only boot from a cd or usb.

    Vol 6 = USB (duh)

Am I correct about this? Kind of worried about deleting oem recovery and the boot efi one so I'm asking so I don't mess up my pc. Thank you

EDIT: Oh, and also, this wouldn't remove my windows 10 license so I would have to activate it again right? "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account". So I'd just sign into my ms account and it would auto-activate windows?

    :)

    W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

    - press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
    - diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
    - list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
    - select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
    - clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
    - create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
    - exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
    - click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

Can I safely remove every partition on my hard disk drive and clean install windows 10?

2 of my internal hard drives, not been reconized!!

Try using diskpart to convert one of the drives to basic disk

Code: diskpart list disk (verify this with disk manager to make sure the drive numbers haven't changed. The two disks you are trying to clean should have a * in the Dyn column) select disk # (#= the disk number) convert basic clean create partition primary select part 1 format fs=ntfs quick[/quote]
