Windows 10: Can I sort the Quick Access list?

If the Quick Access list contains more than a few entries, it is very difficult to use. Did the geniuses at M$FT provide a way to sort it? I am guessing they did not as that would be way to much customer care, but I thought I'd ask.

Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”

Can't we sort Quick Access items?

In File Explorer, I want the items appearing under Quick Access to be sorted alphabetically. However, "sort" is grayed out.

Further down the list in the sidebar, items under "This PC" can be sorted. Why in the world is this not possible for Quick Access?

To troubleshoot your concern, we suggest that you try to follow the steps provided below:

• Disable Quick Access.
• Re-enable Quick Access.
• Restart your computer, and see if it helps.
