    Hello!


    This is my first time in Microsoft Community.


    I have Windows 10 Laptop and I recently got the October 2020/20H2 Update.I think it causes my PC to causes Black Screen on startup Before Signing-In.Sometimes after Signing-In,I have black screen too!IBlack screen also appears randomly when something crashed for example,apps.I also noticed the other problems like cmd32.exe running on startup randomly/after each cumulative updates and 99/100% usage CPU,Disk.And the worst is that my screen suddenly becomes so dim.I didn't even have any of these problems before.I haven't even see any problems.


    I have tried updating drivers,updating via Device Manager Manually.I searched for the manufacturer's website and i found nothing.I searched on Microsoft Community and any other websites.I didn't interrupted the update.It was my first time getting the first Feature Update.It's been 3 months since i updated Windows 10.I get the update on December 19,2020 starting from 1:00 P.M. to about 6:30 P.M.


    Before i have successfully updated Windows 10,the Windows Update was corrupted.I tried several times.It keeps saying "Undoing Changes Made to your Computer".One day,it successfully updated.So,can i still get Feature Updates safely on my PC?I'm looking forward to the replies.Thanks!

    Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

    Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

    I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
