  1. Can I stop windows notifications from telling me to restart?

Just a simple question; a quick search did not yield an answer, but if it has already been answered elsewhere I'll happily find that thread instead.

Is there a way to stop Windows Action Center from telling me that I need to restart to apply updates? I've already found a way to manually prevent Windows from restarting without my permission, and I would rather not have it interrupting full-screen applications to remind me of this fact.

    E2A: Windows 10 Professional

(If your response is a simple "no, that's not possible without applying the updates", that's fine. If your response includes any explanations of why I should already have applied the updates, or any variant on why I shouldn't be asking this question, I'm not interested.)

    :)

  3. How can I stop Cortana from telling me about the Get Reminders Across Your Devices option

    Hi there,

New PC with Win 10 Home and I've been through all of the Cortana and Notebook settings and still cannot get rid of the message

"Get Reminders Across Your Devices.". Even letting Cortana send the text message to my phone didn't stop it.

Clicking on "not now" only gets rid of it temporarily.

    thanks

Please Tell Me I Can Change This: Hi :) Below is a screenshot of my 'Downloads' folder. As you can see it's divided in two by today's activity and yesterday's. Not too long ago, it was all one big field without the separations of the days. Is there any way to revert back to that? My Windows version is below....

Stopping Defender from telling me it found nothing?: Is there a way to stop the alerts from Windows Defender that uselessly tell me it found nothing? If there's no problem, I don't need or want to hear about it. Just tell me if/when it finds something suspicious, then I'll deal with it. Otherwise STHU! 89565
