Windows 10: Can I upgrade from Win 11 Home to Win 11 Pro without using any key or code?

I have several pc's at work with Win 11 Home, that should be Win 11 Pro. These pc's are for costumers, but I dont know who yet, so I dont have any activation code, or product key. Is it possible to just download Win 11 Pro, and wait with activation until its sold and we have the product key?

Upgrading from Win 11 home to Win 11 Pro - using Win 10 pro key

I have a new laptop - running Win 11 Home

My old laptop was upgraded to Win 10 pro from win 10 home

Can I transfer this upgrade to the new laptop and then upgrade this to Win 11 Pro ?

Without it affecting any programs that I have installed ?

What would happen if I just change the product key on my Laptop to the old Win 10 pro one ?

 

How to upgrade Win 11 Home to Win 11 Pro

receiving error code 8000ffff attempting to upgrade from win 11 home to win 11 pro, which was perchased in the Microsoft Store.

 

Clean install of win 11 pro

I have a laptop running with a digital licence for Win10 Pro. The laptop originally came with Win 10 home but I upgraded to win 10 pro using a key from a win 7 ultimate dvd.

Windows update tells me I can update to win 11 pro from my present install and acquire a digital licence from MS.

My potential issue after doing so would be, if I wanted to do a clean Win 11 Pro install after getting the digital licence (for win11 pro) I suspect the install would read the bios key and install Win 11 home and not Pro. Apparently Win 7 keys are no longer valid for the Win 10 and 11 upgrades.

My question then becomes what steps do I follow to do a clean Win11 Pro install on this laptop bearing in mind the system came with Win10 Home.
