Windows 10: Can I upgrade from Windows 10 Pro digital license to Windows 11 Pro clean install for free?

Hi,I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed. When I view my Microsoft account and view my devices, my PC is displayed as Windows 10 Pro, but the serial number field just says "System Serial Number," so I assume that means it's a digital license.My PC meets the Windows 11 requirements, and Windows Update is nagging me to install Windows 11 version 22H2.Instead of upgrading, I would prefer to do a clean install of Windows 11 on a new bigger drive. I've backed everything up.My main question is: Can I upgrade from Windows 10 Pro digital license to Windows 11 Pro clean install for free?If I do

I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.

Where exactly did you get this "windows pro" key from? If it's off eBay or something, then perhaps you've been sold a dud key. Also, it's not clear if you mean you bought windows 10 pro or an earlier version of windows as there's no such thing as "windows pro".

Do you have an Windows 7 or 8.1? If so, install that, download the ISO with the media creation tool and burn it to disc. Then run it as an upgrade. After that, the components hash of your PC will give you a digital entitlement for a clean install, so just bought off that disc, wipe the partitions and install it clean. It will auto activate over the internet once installed.

 

Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro Upgrade with Digital License

I have a Windows 10 pro license linked digitally with my Microsoft account. My system supports windows 11 and I want to upgrade. I don't see any option to upgrade through the windows update. Do I need to download an ISO from Microsoft? should I choose clean install or upgrade option during installation? Will the windows 11 pro activate if I connect my Microsoft account that has the windows 10 pro license? Please guide.
