Windows 10: Can I upgrade my windows without losing my activate Product key license Windows 8.1 to...

Hi There...so recently I got information that Windows 8.1 will end of support on 10 January 2023. So I decided to Upgrade my windows version to windows 10. I have a laptop with windows 8.1 pro installed and the manufacturer has activated it. But I'm worried the license won't be active after the upgrade. So, Is there a way to upgrade windows without losing the activated license?

or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack

 

Windows 8, full or upgrade required?

Nope wrong MM, With the new windows 8 upgrades it KNOWS that it was installed clean and will throw an activation error of 0xC004F061 I have already had it throw it even on the first install saying it could not activate due to it being an "Upgrade" version on a clean install.
