  1. Can I use a Microphone on an unactivated Windows 10?

I downloaded Windows 10 on my Mac Mini Late 2014 several months ago. But I had a problem that's problematic for most gamers. It's that my Microphone doesn't work. I tried every headset I have. Most of them work on other devices with no problems. But none of them work in my PC. I didn't activate Windows 10 on my PC. Also when I go to the sound settings, it says I need to activate windows to "Personalize my PC." So I am concerned about not activating my windows has to do with the mic problem. So do I need to activate my windows for my mic to work?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
