Windows 10: Can I use a school account alongside a personal account without restrictions?

Hi,I use a personal Microsoft account on Windows 11, but I also have a school account I use via a browser. If I add this as a 'work or school account' in settings, will it restrict usage on my device? I am not interested in connecting to an AD domain, I just want to access teams via the standalone app.Thanks!

School Account added restrictions to PC. Removed school account, but restrictions remain... How do I remove them?

I previously used a school account on my personal PC which added restrictions to my PC. I've since removed the account, but after restarting the restrictions remained (things like backup settings, device manager, policy settings).

Is there an extra step I require to do?

Go to Accounts.

Select Your Info, is the School Account Email listed there?

Select Emails and Accounts, is the School Account Email listed there?

Select Access Work or School, is the School Account Email listed there?

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
