Windows 10 April 2018 Update Breaks Dragon Dictate 15 Professional

I updated Windows 10 Pro x64 to the April 2018 refresh hoping to to be able to use the new dictation feature, (Windows key plus h). I've been using Dragon Dictate Pro 15 with a desktop mic and Realtek onboard audio for more than a year without issues.
After the April 2018 update, the Dragon Dictate bar won't initialize to allow dictation, with an error message asking to look for a conflicting device using the audio. Is there some workaround, I need to use Dragon to do my job.

I suspect that the new dictation feature in Windows 10 conflicts with Dragon Dictate 15 in some way. When I try to use it, it starts to initialize and then says "something went wrong, please try again later." Can anybody help? I've tried sfc /scanow and
there are no errors reported. I've also reinstalled the audio driver, but the problem remains.

1. Are you using dictation in Windows or Office application?
   
2. Since when are you facing this issue?
   
3. Did you make any changes to the computer before this issue started?
   

I suggest you to follow the below mentioned steps:

Step 1: To dictate text:

1. Open Speech Recognition by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking Ease of Access, and then clicking Windows Speech Recognition.

2. Say "start listening" or click the Microphone button to start the listening mode.

3. Open the program you want to use or select the text box you want to dictate text into.

4. Say the text that you want dictate.
