    Stream a DVD from PC to Smart TV

    We have Media Streaming enabled to the Samsung Smart TV in Advanced Sharing options. The problem is that neither Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center, Movies and TV app nor Windows DVD player can play a Movie DVD in the laptop DVD drive to the TV,
    since it cannot be loaded into the Library List to Play to: TV.

    Can anyone suggest how to make this work. I've searched everywhere on the web and am astounded it would be made so hard and unintuitive.

    Especially irritating is that the Movies and TV app which is supposed to be the solution will not even show up under Autoplay for the DVD drive. Did someone forget that DVD's are still a popular way to play movies and will be until they all corrode?

    Will External (USB) DVD Player/Recorder Work on Dell Inspiron 3650

    I am having problems with the internal CD/DVD device that is part of my Dell Inspiron 3650 desk top. I am thinking about purchasing a external (USB connection) player/recorder device in its place. Anyone know why this should not work ? Any suggestions
    on which device to purchase ?

    Connect a desktop pc to a Samsung smart tv

    I'm trying to connect a older Desktop pc with Window 10 to my Samsung f8000 smart tv via wifi or LAN. My desktop pc is ethernet cabled to the Sky home hub and the smart tv ethernet cabled to the hub as well. My smart tv appears in the connected devices
    list but it doesn't seem to connecting, is it because I need a wireless dongle??
