Windows 10: Can i use my Wifi as a gatway router to internet

My home lab has 3 PCsPC1 has 2 network interface WIFI connected to internet and Ethernet connected to a local 5 port switchP2 and PC3 has no internet but Ethernet which are connected to same switch as PC1I want to keep PC1 Ethernet, PC2 and PC3 in different subnet, say 10.10.x.x and want to access the internet of PC1 Wifi on PC and PC3I triedPC1 Ethernet as 10.10.1.1 and gateway as WIFI IP 192.168.2.145same as PC2 and PC 3 the gateway IP is set to IP of the WIFI but nothing working can any one please help or advise

950XL Wifi / Router Problem

Since I have purchased my 950XL the wifi connection in my router shuts down, I still have wired connection but all devices connected via wifi lose their connection to router. Apparently others have the same issue as well My 950xl is messing with my router.

Any suggestions is highly appreciated.

• I have had 15 conversations on Twitter with @LumiaHelp & so far they have suggested general instructions. I will report back if they truly provide a solution.

• Lumia Help & Microsoft's provided solutions via Twitter (@LumiaHelp) has been useless.
• If anyone has this issue, please kindly complain on Twitter as more voices are needed.
• They are suggesting this is an isolated issue & I keep sending the list of people whom everyday come up with this problem.
• I need help to raise awareness otherwise we won't be noticed.

Update June 6:

• After months of back and forth with Lumia & Microsoft support, the phone works with certain routers and as evidenced by latest replies, it still doesn't work with some select other routers.
• This effort has been useless in a sense that proper attention has not been given to this issue.
• Is having a wifi connection too much too ask on a "smart phone"?
• The support response has been ridiculous at best.

 

Internet Router missing from Device Manager

Hi all, hoping someone can help?

I am troubleshooting my abysmal WiFi speeds as my PC is fast becoming unusable.

Having spoken to my ISP - I have split the signal on the router. The split has been done successfully (visible on my mobile phone network options), however the 5.0GHz network is not showing up on my desktop PC - the trouble shooting steps suggest tweaking
the adapter settings.

My issue is that the Router is not listed in Device Manager? Hidden Devices is checked...

This is what is listed...none of these are for my NOWTV router....

 

Xfinity Wifi showing up in my routers available internet connections ?

I recently found that "xfinity wifi" is showing up in my available internet access list as an openly available option.
I have comcast xfinity hi speed internet as my internet provider but have never had it show up on the routers available connections list before. The home network I set up years ago has a different name.

I am puzzled why this free open network has suddenly appeared in the list. As it requires no password I think there is a possibility its use might present a security risk
Is this a new Xfinity feature??
