Windows 10: Can I use non-activated non-pirated version of windows 10 ?

I've downloaded windows 10 from the official Microsoft website but I'm running windows 10 without activation. There is a watermark of Activate windows in the bottom right corner of the screen. I am using google chrome on this non-activated non-pirated version of windows 10 on my laptop and earn money through online platforms. I want to know if it is legal to earn money through an online platform using the non-activated non-pirated version of windows 10. Also, I'm building a website, which I may commercialize in the future.

Genuine Windows 10 does not expire, they have installed and activated a pirated copy or volume licence version of Windows 10 on your PC . . .

Your laptop, originally most likely came with Windows 10 Home and because they have not re-installed that version you will continue to have this problem

You should go back to them and insist they put the correct version of Windows 10 on your PC . . .
