Windows 10: Can I use space cadet pinball?

Can I use space cadet pinball?I saw that the company who made space cadet pinball Cinematronics was absorbed into Maxis and Maxis was absorbed into EA. since microsoft has used it in the past you own the right I think?Now since it hasnºt been distributed or sold it is freeware or abandonware right?

I have windows 10 but I cannot play 3D pinball space cadet. Why?

This is how to play Space Cadet 3D Pinball in full screen

1. Right Click the application or a shortcut to it
2. Select "Properties" located at the bottom of the pop up window
3. Select the "Compatibility" tab
4. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows 8 or 7.
   
5. Open the game and press the F4 key
6. Enjoy

Pressing F4 in the other classic free Windows games brings up a menu showing stats, but in 3D Pinball, it attempts to make it fullscreen, although in Windows 10, it isnt able to for some reason. Compatibility mode fixes this.
