    Can I use system builder oem windows 10 on my own build?


    I am planning on building a computer with all parts in a year. If i get system builder OEM license which is cheaper, is it allowed? i see people saying its allowed on articles and stuff... but microsoft says its not allowed for personal use and only if you sell the pc... I am confused.

    Can I use Windows 7 OEM key for my Own Personal Computer

    Hi, Peace Be Upon You!

    I bought Windows 7 Home Premium OEM key from Kinguin at low price. I installed windows and also activated the Windows with that key without any problem. Its running fine and working 100% with no issue. I just read today that OEM keys are only for computer
    manufacturer companies or system builders and we cannot use it for our own personal computer. Like I am not a manufacturer or system builder I just bought it and installed clean Windows and activated it with that key for my own personal computer. So is it
    allowed to use OEM key if I bought it and install it myself for my own personal computer that I am not going to sell its for my own use? What are the License terms for OEM keys as I read on internet that its for system builders not for end user. I don't want
    to break any MS EULA.

    In order to qualify as a system builder you must assemble at least 100 computers per year from individual components. No, I'm just kidding! I wouldn't worry at all about how many components you have to assemble to be a system builder. I don't think Microsoft defines that anywhere. To me, the last step of building a computer system is to install the OS and make sure it all works.
