Can I use Task Sceduler or Group Policy Management Console to automatically close Microsoft...

I have created a task in Task Scheduler for the Microsoft Sticky Notes app downloaded from the Microsoft Store, to open 30 seconds after I turn on my PC and enter the Desktop, but in order for this task to work I need to always remember to manually 'close' the Microsoft Sticky Notes app on my Taskbar before actually shutting down my PC.If I don't manually 'close' the Microsoft Sticky Notes app that's on the taskbar - the very next time I turn on my PC and enter the Desktop the actual Sticky Notes I have on my Desktop launch instantly by default which is something I don't want. I only want the

    Group Policy Management Console

Sorry for the late response. I hope my answers answer your questions.

Yes, when I upgraded from a version of Windows 10 to a version of Windows 20H2 two years ago, I got yellow warning triangles in Device Manager and I assumed they were due to a driver update problem. Updates to different versions of Windows 20H2 / 21H1 / 21H2 and Windows Security have worked well. I downloaded two KB updates at the time of the Windows 20H2 version updates because there was a mention that they should be that the updates would come automatically after that, but the drivers didn't seem to be updating and the yellow attention triangles were still there.

    1. and 2. That's when I downloaded this Group Policy Management Console. I don't remember where I downloaded it from Microsoft. It is apparently intended for businesses as an application that allows updates to be collected and programmed to occur centrally at quieter times, such as at night. When installing the program, questions about updates made me think that this is probably not the right application to download, so I think I removed it, but I don't remember how and if I still updated some information for that application. I didn't download this program to collect updates for later download, but I thought some program needs to be downloaded to get the drivers updated.

    3. I cleaned my machine with IObit and at the same time updated the drivers.

    My problem is

    - The Group Policy Management Console still exists even though I thought I removed it.

To my knowledge, the WSUS and waas folders are associated with this Group Policy Management Console. These folders remained even though I cleaned my machine with this IObit program. When there are updates for the files in the folders this year, I assume that this Group Policy Management Console still exists, and I didn't remove it correctly two years ago.

    - I don't know if the Group Policy Management Console has collected updates in two years, and if so, what updates and how can I apply them.

If the Group Policy Management Console has collected updates during those two years, they should have been deployed from there, and I haven't. IObit does allow drivers to be updated, but OEM updates from the device manufacturer are the ones I'm worried about, will I get them if they have accumulated here and can't be returned. I don't know how to check for and apply updates to this Group Policy Management Console. Is it even possible anymore.

    - The Group Policy Management Console should be removed.

I installed Windows 21H2 using MediaCreationTool21H2.exe. I still restored my computer to its default settings and at the same time Windows was reinstalled, but this program is still there. I have received new instructions for downloading and installing MediaCreationTool21H2.exe from a USB drive. The program should download without any other programs. I would first like to see if any updates have been accumulated to this Group Policy Management Console and can be applied before I uninstall the program. And is this instruction on downloading to a USB drive the right tool to uninstall a program.

Probably my original problem wasn’t even related to the upgrade issues. New updates for Windows 10 should have been downloaded from the device manufacturer's website. I had assumed they would come automatically through Windows Update. I'm not sure if the existence of the Group Policy Management Console somehow prevents updates from happening because some of the device manufacturer's updates are still not updated. Because with IObit, when I updated my drivers to the latest ones and cleaned up a lot of unnecessary files, some of the hardware manufacturer's OEM updates that were missed were now updated after two years, but some still aren't. I've also been instructed to perform a cold boot on the Alt + F10 device manufacturer's factory settings, but I read somewhere that when I have the original version of the device Windows 8 when that version no longer exists, I should contact Microsoft Support before downloading the factory settings. I'm not sure if this information is true.

Unable to access task manager after changing group policy for recovery settings

    Hello Andrew,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    1. Is the PC connected to a domain network or a personal network?

The issue might be because the task manager policies have been affected due to the changes.

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue.

    Note:
Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the group policy. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the group policy incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added
protection, create a system restore point. Then, you can restore the system if a problem occurs.

    Refer the article to
    create a system restore point
    .

    1. Go to "Start" -> "Run" -> Write "Gpedit.msc" and press on "Enter" button.
    2. Navigate to "User Configuration" -> "Administrative Templates" -> "System" -> "Ctrl+Alt+Del Options".
    3. In the right side of the screen verity that "Remove Task Manager"" option set to "Disable" or "Not Configured".
    4. Close "Gpedit.msc" MMC.
    5. Go to "Start" -> "Run" -> Write "gpupdate /force" and press on "Enter" button.
    6. Restart the PC.

However, if you still face the issue I suggest you to post your issue on

    TechNet
    forum.

    Hope it helps.
