Windows 10: Can I use the jack port on my laptop as an input from a different device ?

Hello nice people from this website !I have a Asus laptop TUF Gaming F15 with Bluetooth, a Jack audio port and the latest realtek driverI want to use my jack port as an input for my Nintendo Switch and my bluetooth headphone as output like this :TV <--- HDMI ----- Switch ----Jack ----> Laptop ----Bluetooth----> HeadphoneThe audio from my switch is getting out fine from the Jack cable.The audio from my laptop is getting out fine in my Bluetooth Headphone.BUT I can't retrieve the audio of my Switch on my laptop the red part in my diagramI already look at the audio settings and c

All usb microphone inputs not working


So both my adapter for xlr to 3.5mm jack input and my newly purchased usb microphone are not recognised. I've tried updating the drivers, using different usb ports, uninstalling the drivers and letting windows do it manually. Every time though, it's listed as having issue's in device manager... Can some help?

Hi,

It's possible that the the reboot may have changes some settings in your device's audio manager. Let's try to separate all input jacks as independent input devices by doing the following steps:

• Open Explorer, type or paste Control Panel\All Control Panel Items and then open
  Realtek HD Audio Manager.
• Click Device advance settings (top-right) and click Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously and Separate all input jacks as independent input devices.

Headphone Jack Splitter Fix?

Hi,

Can you please is the Microphone is listed in the device manager after you connected to jack or not.

Step 1:

Go to Device Manager & expand Audio Inputs and Outputs

Step 2:

If Microphone is listed Select Microphone and right-click then select Enable Device

Let me know the status after performing the above.
