Windows 10: Can I use Windows 10 without a license in a Virtual Machine to conduct malware analysis?

Good afternoon,I am currently working on a project for my dissertation for a Honours Degree in Cyber Security. My project in based on building learning environment for a security operations centre and part of that is building a malware analysis machine for blue team training. My question is, am I allowed to use an unlicensed version of Windows 10 that has been created using Microsofts Media Creation tool for the purpose of malware analysis? The Windows 10 VM instance will have Flare VM installed so it would be used for nothing more than malware analysis. Furthermore, it will be destroyed afte

Move windows 10 pro license from virtual machine to physical machine.

I need to move a windows 10 pro license from a virtual machine to a physical machine. The license has been bought as windows 10 pro not upgrade etc. The thing is that the computer (Mac book pro) where the virtual machine used to live is now dead beyond
repair and to expensive to use. So I want to install windows 10 on a dell laptop now but I cant deactivate the old license on the virtual machine. Any suggestions?

Windows 10 doesn't really have a dedicated type of product key for virtual machines.

If you want you can signup for Microsft Azure so you can create Linux or Windows VMs.
