Windows 10: Can I use Windows 11 .5GB OneDrive for other than profile information?

What I want to do:Use the Windows 11 .5GB OneDrive for other than profile information. Configuration:- Windows 11 Pro- Local User Accounts - This isn't going to change- Online Account - I use to register software etc.Situation:I have a OneDrive folder that shows in Windows Explorer and is on my hard drive inside of the profile. I can put files there, however, they do not get replicated to the OneDrive on line. When I go into Settings/Accounts, I only see the possibilities to enable documents, pictures, etc., and nothing about the OneDrive on disk.Question:Can I use Windows 11 .5GB OneDrive

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

Combining OneDrive's 5Gb for 3 devices into 15Gb

I was wondering why one is restricted to only 5Gb on OneDrive when I have three devices using Windows 10 and would like to have a combined total of 15Gb. If each machine had a different profile then I could have 5Gb per profile. Why am I punished to
only 5Gb when using one profile as this is not much for sharing data among 3 machines. I am currently paying Google 1.99 for 100Gb which I would be willing to pay that also for Onedrive but I think their current pricing is too much.

 

stop original 5gb onedrive

I seem to have both Windows Onedrive (5gb) and Microsoft 365 subscription Onedrive (1TB). It seems that one local hard drive sees the 1TB onedrive while another local hard drive sees the original 5gb. How can I get rid of the 5gb onedrive? Win 10.
