Windows 10: Can I use Windows 11 on VMware without activating?

Hi, I have a simple question. I know you can use Windows 10/11 without activating. You just can't Personalize. I don't want to change the Background anyways. Or turn on Dark Mode. So, I'm fine with not Personalizing. My question is, can I use Windows 10/11 on a Virtual Machine? Without Activating? VMware Workstation Pro Home version. Then I wouldn't need Windows Evaluations? From Technet? Please reply. Thanks

Problem with activation of windows on VMware

I have Windows 7 Home premium running on my PC. I would like to test Win 10 downloaded to same Windows 7 in VMware as PC successfully. It says Win 7 in VMware is not activated and it will not activate with the original key. How can I activate it or enter
Windows 10 product key in VMware?

 

VMWare workstation 11 no internet.


Try re-installing VMware. If that doesn't work, make sure that the firewall on host computer isn't blocking VMware, then update or install VMware Tools in the VMs. (I could give step-by-step instructions but I'm sure won't need them)

Let us know few thing to help you better:

* Did you notice any error code or error message, while using product key?

Please follow the below furnished step to activate windows manually:

* Open run command by pressing Windows + R and type “slui 3” and hit enter.

* You will notice a pop windows asking to for product key. Please enter the product key and ensure that

there should not be any errors, while entering the product key.

* Once authenticating, it will give confirmation message on successful windows activation

* If problem still persist, I would suggest you to open run command again by pressing
Windows key +R type “slui.exe 4”
and press enter. Please follow the prompts to activate the windows copy through phone.
