Windows 10: Can logon due to a Windows update

Windows security update was pushed last night that updated the BIOS as well. I cant logon with PIN or microsoft password now. Can login on my mobile but not laptop.

I am also super frustrated and after a long hour wait the customer support are now telling me that it is a known issue and developers are working to push an update in the next two hours!!!!!! I am super angry too!!!!!

Windows 10 logon screen has no logon

This issue may occur due to display driver.

I would suggest you to go through the below steps to update the display driver:

Restart the computer in safe mode.

  Try to update the display adaptor.

  Press Windows key+X.
  
• 
  Click on Device Manager.
  
• 
  From the list, expand the display adaptor.

  Right click on the display driver.

  After update, reboot the computer.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
