    Our school needs computers to teach children from remote communities about information technology. The corporate social responsibility program at Microsoft may be able to help us. Mr. Gates has been blessed with the affluence and renown to assist people in underserved areas of my country; therefore, I would be grateful if he would help us by donating no more than 15 used computers, as my mission at the school is to educate children about the applications of technology.     How to remove an Icon of "eConnect by Harris School Solutions" on my Taskbar

    Hi Graceimson,

    I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the "eConnect by Harris School Solutions"
    from the taskbar and check if it helps.

    • Right click on the icon "eConnect by Harris School Solutions".
    • Click on “Unpin from Taskbar” the icon will be removed from the taskbar.

    • What are you referring to when you say “I am unable to establish my permanent profile”?
    As an initial step, I suggest you to check if you can find the favorites in on the favorite folder on the computer.

    Follow the steps below:


    • Press Windows + R keys.

    • Key in %userprofile% and press Enter

    • Make sure you have a Favorites folder listed in the %userprofile% folder.
    You may refer: Use favorites to save websites you like
