Windows 10: Can Microsoft MEdia Foundation broadcast over RTSP

There are plenty of docs to tell that MSMF can be used to "play" i.e. read from an RTSP stream.https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/medfound/supported-protocolsHowever, I want to do the opposite : create a RTSP stream as a sink on output of an encoding scheme.Is it possible ? For that case I don't see any useful information.

To assist you better, please provide us more information.

• 
  How the camera device is connected to the system?
  
• What is the make and model of the camera device?

For now, I suggest you to check if the settings is set up properly.

• 
  Open Windows media player and click on Organize on the top of the left side.
  
• 
  Click on option and click on Network tab.
  
• 
  Check on all the boxes .e.g. RTSP/UPD.
  
• Now click on Apply and Ok.

Could you please help me with the below questions:

• How are you broadcasting?
  
• Are you receiving any error code along with the error message?
  
• Which version of Windows you are using? (To check, type: winver in start menu and hit enter.)
  

You can check if the Broadcast option is enabled under Settings. To do so, follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Click on the Settings icon from the start menu.
   
2. Click on Gaming > Click on
   Game bar.
3. In the right pane, turn on the slider under “Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar”.
   

I suggest you to follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the Microsoft article on ‘Why
can't I broadcast my game?’ andplease provide a screenshot of the window, so that we can have a better understanding on this issue. Follow the steps mentioned in the
screenshot
posted by Shawn ‘Cmdr’ Keene on Oct 2, 2015 to post the screenshot.
