Windows 10: Can microsoft please, for the love of all that is holy, move up the timeline to cease...

Every time windows wants to update, it just shuts my computer down whenever it wants. Doesn't ask; doesn't wait for permission; just acts like an emotionally challenged 6th grader and shuts off. I don't care who steals my identity or records my keystrokes or backdoors my hardware. I don't need a security update every other week. I just do not care enough to deal with this terrible system. Please, microsoft updates, go away!

Timeline Activity not showing up

The timeline activity just won't show up on the timeline window. I always get "Use your PC more for activities."

I have enabled the settings required for timeline in Privacy > Activity History:

Let Windows collect my activities

Let Windows Sync my activities

Show activities from accounts

I also tried using regedit to add these variables in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System

• EnableActivityFeed
• PublishUserActivities
• UploadUserActivities

All the variables are set to 1, and are DWORD values. (as stated in this article Timeline feature not working in Windows 10), to no effect.

Any more troubleshooting steps I can go through?

Based on the description, I understand that you want to remove photos that are displayed on the timeline. To remove the photos from the timeline you can follow the steps mentioned:

1. Open Photos app.
   
2. Click on the Ellipsis on the top right corner.
   
3. Click on Settings.
   
4. Under Sources click on X to remove the folder, which has the photos that you want to remove from Timeline.

Thank you for the reply. I have done the steps you mentioned but I can't still see any Microsoft word or excel documents in the timeline.
