Windows 10: Can my 2015 laptop hard drive cause lag?

Hey, i've got a toshiba satellite c55-b5100 and it normaly performs well, but when I open apps like microsoft edge, I notice some lag. Also i seem to have lag on games like Minecraft java and bedrock.

Bedrock always crashes on me while playing. I just think upgrading to an ssd will improve load times of games and apps, but I also think it'll improve fps a little, cause it is always saving things like player location, chunks, and npc locations, and seed placements, and cause my hard drive is kinda old, it is a slower hard drive too. And getting an ssd would make it able to send the files of player locations and block placements faster than hdd, so with that logic, i belive that getting an ssd wil improve gaming fps a little, right? Now, a lot of lag is from the soldered cpu, i know. And if the ssd does not work like that. Then I'm looking into laptops that can play games like minecraft, one cheap option I'm trying to earn up enough money to buy the motile 14" laptop from walmart.

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

 

Laptop hard drive upgrade

To replace a hard drive on a laptop is a little more troublesome than a desktop. 1st as most people here suggest you will need some sort of a backup disk just in case. Also be sure when buying the new Hard Disk is compatible with your model. And i would strongly suggest you install a new system and start from scratch because there are far too many problems that can occur when transferring system files.

 

Problem: One Drive causing keyboard input lag.

I have noticed that because OneDrive is continuously syncing it was causing keyboard input lag for example I couldn't type certain letters on my laptop (A,S,F,L,F) until I paused the syncing. I do not know if it is a One Drive Problem or a laptop problem.
I currenlty have a Lenovo Yoga 730 13.3 inch. Any suggestions?
