Windows 10: Can my child use my windows 11 account on a new computer?

I am building a computer with/for my child, can they share my windows 11 account so I can moderate and view their activity child is 6, or do I need to buy a new windows license for the new computer? If I do need to buy a new windows account what is the best way to moderate it just start a family account on their computer?

Child account

I did set up a Child account, I did fallow all the steps window ask, the account say that the child is in the family, when I tried to log, give me the message "The Profile Service service Failed The Sign-in. User Profile cannot be loaded".

Answering your questions:

• Did you make any changes to the child account prior to the issue? No, I did not make any changes.
• Since when you are facing this issue? Right from the start. I never got to login.
• Are you able to login with other child accounts on the computer? No

I suggest you to restart the computer once and check if you are able to login to the computer. I did, the same problem, I do not have any problem with my account or my wife.

Child Account Get Greyed Out

Thanks for the suggestion, but I did the following instead.

I have another laptop, 2 weeks old, with Windows 10 Home on it.

On that one, I tried the same steps with the child account, and got the exact same results.

 

How to remove Child Account as Administrator in Windows 11

We understand that you want to remove the child account that is set as an administrator account on Windows 11 and we suggest you try it:

Press Windows+R, type netplwiz, find the current child account on the Accounts page and double-click on it.

Go to the Group membership tab in the new window where you will find the available account groups. Select Standard user and click Apply.



If you are unable to set up an account group for this account, it is recommended that you follow the steps in the link below to move the child account out of the family group and re-add it:Leave family group or remove members - Microsoft Support
