If you find out how to transfer your email contacts and email storage folders from windows mail to windows live mail let me know. What an incredible pain in the butt!! I paid $1000.00 for a New Dell desktop
XPS Windows 10 to upgrade from my very old but good Windows Vista Dell
XPS 410 desktop. I can't transfer anything from my old computer to my new one do to the operating system. I have called Dell support-Microsoft support-Brighthouse support and none of these supports could help me. Hours on the phone for nothing!!.
Help one last time before I take this new computer back and buy a Mac.

Windows XP on Dell XPS 410 Blue Screen of Death question

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone familiar with this could shed some insight. Have an old Dell XPS 410 desktop running windows XP (yep, XP) and have not used it for years. A few days ago I hooked it up and turned it on and it worked. (Using it offline) A day later I used it again and got the Blue Screen of Death error message. After turning off and on again it made some beeping noise and just went to a black screen.

I unplugged and plugged back in for a hard reboot, which did come up with the windows XP logo and brought me to the select user screen. After clicking on my name, it went back to a black screen and beeped a number of times.

Could this mean my hard drive crashed? Is there a way to tell?

I’m hoping this is not the case as I can’t remember the last time I did a backup, I wish I had taken a photo of that blue screen before turning it off

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
