    I have My Money 2005 version on my Windows 8.1 desktop. I've recently purchased a laptop with Windows 10. Can the My Money program be converted to run on Windows 10?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay.

    I suggest you to use the Microsoft Money 2005 in compatibility mode and check if it works fine.

    Make older apps or programs compatible with Windows 10

    Note: The above mentioned steps are also applicable to Windows 10

    MS Money 2005 UK stopped working in Windows 10

    I have Money 2005 (UK version) working fine on three PCs running v 1809.

    Things to check.

    1. Do a full power off & restart. Also run sfc / scannow to check/repair the system files.
    2. Confirm Internet Explorer is installed and set to default conditions.Set from Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features\Turn Windows Features On or Off.
    3. Uninstall Money and reinstall it using the link I gave in post 9 which is the latest UK version. Run the installer as Administrator from an admin account in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3. Also set the Money executable file to compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3.     Running Microsoft Money in windows 10 (or not!).

    From the answers so far there seems to be a way of using Microsoft Money with Windows 10. Is it possible for someone to explain, step by step, to someone that does not have a clue about computers? I have the 2005 version of Microsoft Money.
