  1. Can my PC handle Windows 10?


    I'm currently on Windows 8.1 Pro x64.


    • CPU: Athlon II X2 245 (65w)


    • MB: M4N68T-M LE


    • GPU: GeForce 6800 GS XXX Edition


    • RAM: 2x4gb DDR3 1600mhz


    • SSD: 240gb SU630 SATA 6Gb/s


    • PSU: Hiper 425w

    The system runs fine, could be a little faster with a better CPU in the future, upgrade it to a 6-core Phenom II X6 1055T (95w)

    Can i also upgrade this and carry over the OEM license to Windows 10 Home?

    Of course, I'm going to suggest you follow the steps to enable Crossfire as outlined HERE.

    Make sure you do a thorough uninstall of you current drivers.

    Start with the Crysis Hotfix drivers and see if you can make it work that way FIRST.

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
