Windows 10: Can no longer access iCloud on Windows 11

For some unknown reason, my system can no longer access iCloud. When I try to log in I get the following error:"An error occurred during authentication. Please try again."Windows 11 Pro 22621.1848

icloud synch under Windows 10 no longer works in Outlook

• How are you accessing Outlook through web browser or email client?

I suggest you to uninstall and re-install the iCloud app and check if the issue persists.

To reinstalling the icloud app I suggest you to contact apple forum and check if it helps.

Windows and Icloud Mail etc: Failing to initialise

Could you please help me with the below questions:

1. Are you aware of making any changes to the computer prior to the issue?
   
2. Do you receive any error message when the spinner stops?
   

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1: Uninstall iCloud application.


I would suggest you to Sign out from the iCloud account from the app, then uninstall the application.

1. Press Windows
   and R key together on your Keyboard.
   
2. Type appwiz.cpl and hit enter.
   
3. Select the iCloud application and click on Uninstall.
   

Method 2: Reinstall iCloud application.


Step 1:

I would suggest you to ‘Download
the latest version of iCloud’
from the apple website. Follow the Onscreen instructions and install the application. For more information, check the article on
Set up and use iCloud for Windows.


Step 2:

Once the installation is completed, tap on the Windows key on your keyboard, search for ICloud app. Right click on the app and click on
Pin to taskbar.

If you are using Surface PC, I would suggest you to follow steps mentioned in the Microsoft article about
Using Surface with iPhone, iCloud,
and iTunes.

Hijack iCloud integration to access to CalDav server.

I have just got a Windows Phone (Lumia 630, WP8.1).

I need to access a 3rd party CalDav server, but it seems that there is no generic CalDav support.

However, a bit of searching suggests that setting up iCloud integration and then changing the address of the CalDav server to point to the one that you want should work.

So I...

• Set up iCloud integration.
• Checked that calendar integration worked both ways.
• Changed the CalDav server address to point to 3rd party CalDav server.

This half works:

• I can create an event on the phone, and it get's written successfully to the calendar on the server.
• But I can't see any events (including the one I just created) from the phone.

Has anyone got this approach to work successfully, or have any suggestions as to what to do to get it all working?
