Windows 10: Can no longer change difficulty level in Solitaire games

A few weeks ago I noticed my Solitaire games have changed to the Random difficulty level. I usually play Spider Solitaire on the grandmaster level, but I don't seem to have the ability to change it anymore. There should be a pop up window that allows me to change it, but that window doesn't pop up anymore. I've tried playing on two different computers and both have defaulted to Random with no way of changing it. I find the Random difficulty level is too easy.

Kindly follow these steps.

In the top left corner, there's three horizontal lines with Menu under them. Click that, and go to game options at the top. Scroll down to the bottom of the options and you should see choices for "Remember Deck Difficulty" - just change that to Off.

(Go to game options, at the bottom of the game screen, next to "New Game". In options, turn off "remember deck difficulty" for the game your want to change. )

Next time you play, you will be prompted to select a difficulty.

Can't change any solitaire game difficulty Windows 10

Just as the title says, I'm unable to play any solitaire games on any difficulty other than easy. I don't have a "remember difficulty" option in my game options. The only difficulty setting I can see is "show difficulty selection", which is ON for all
games and still nothing.

I would like to change the difficulty of the games I play in Microsoft Solitaire. How do I do this?
