Windows 10: Can No longer get audio nor visual notification For 3rd party app since syncing computers.

I run ProtonVPN, a 3rd party app and at first I was getting banner notification and audio notification for this app. Now it seems it has disappeared from the Notifications and Actions Page as it was once there when I first installed it. I am about 100% positive that either syncing with my other computers has caused this to quit or some system setting I can Not find. I am just trying to find a way other than doing a rest of windows to fix this problem.. The problem this has also caused is it ALWAYS says now that "A pending restart is need" which I know for 100% is NOT needed as I have tried it both ways, with restart and with out and get the same results and it the only app. that gives me this Nag when I try and install a program now. At first it would just install the program, it would show it listed on the Notifications and Action page and would give me the banner notification and audio so I would know when the VPN had connected and disconnected. At some point it has now stopped and I've tried 3 weeks to resolve it so I wouldn't have to do a reset and load all those programs once again.

I'm running windows 10 Home , Version 10.0.18363 , Build 18363, Optiplex 3020, x64 based PC

If anyone has any ideas as to how to get this app where it will show banner and audio Notificiations it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you much...


P/S.. It is not the App itself as it did work on all of my computers and phone until lately. ProtonVpn set me new app download and uninstall tool from Microsoft and I tried their way by uninstalling and re-installing but no help. I really believe something was turned off automatically somewhere in some setting that has caused this. Whether or security or privacy I have NO idea. Just know it has worked on my computers for over 16 months up until now...Thanks..

Windows Mail and 3rd party messages

• May I know what exactly do you mean when you say "download messages from 3rd party into Windows Mail"?
• Are you referring to Mail app on Windows 10? If so, are you able to receive any send email via Mail app?

If you are facing issues with Mail app, I suggest
run the in-built Windows Store app troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

• 
  Press Windows Key + X..
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  On the left pane, click on View All.
  
• 
  Click on Windows Store apps to run the troubleshooter.

Active Sync and 3rd Party Conduits

I am having trouble with Active Sync 4.5/Win XP SP2/ATT Tilt (HTC 8925) and syncing with two different third party conduits (SplashID and HighWire). The installation programs run fine, and the conduits appear in the "Tools/Options" list for the computer,
but there is no checkbox to the left of the conduits that allows me to enable them. I have tried a complete uninstall and reinstall (with soft resets and reboots in between) to no avail. Other 3rd party conduits (Handbase and pocket mirror) are working fine.



Any thoughts on troubleshooting this type of difficulty?

No Audio or Visual Push Notifications

I have the Lumia 950xl and I am not receiving any audio or visual notifications for text messages and email. I checked all my settings and they seem to be correct. I get a visual notification for missed calls, though. Any help?
