Windows 10: Can no longer log in after wiping my work computer for personal use

I just had my work computer wiped for personal use. I cannot find a way to erase my old profile which no longer has a working password after the wipe. The "Other User" account will not log in with my Microsoft credentials. Therefore, I am unable to get into the computer at all. I tried re-wiping it multiple times with the same results.

I upgraded my HP desktop to windows 10 from windows 7. I now wish to give it to a charity but need to wipe my personal data. I have tried going through settings - recovery - reset but the computer was unable to make any changes. Initially it seemed to
be working but then when the computer restarted all my files were still there. I tried again but this time got a message saying the computer could not make the requested changes - any suggestions?

Can you list what tasks/steps you've done thus far in your attempt to resolve it?

Have you logged off your profile (if using Sync) and done a complete wipe of the browser?

How about uninstall and then wipe any remaining data?

Do you have another device you can sort on that it works fine or you could test with?

Your report suggests that your installation has suffered some damage which prevents Windows from doing a reset. In such stubborn cases I would do this:

1. Create a new media installation disk:
   
   http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install
2. Run setup.exe on this disk.

It would wipe everything, including your data and all applications.
