Windows 10: Can no longer share photos and vectors between photoshop and illustrator

Hello Any one at Microsoft.In previous versions of Windows I could draw my vectors and then drag them to the tool bar drop them into photoshop and complete my job, very easy. Now, I can't share files back and forth between illustrator and photoshop. I have been doing this for years why did you get rid of it.

Photoshop vs Illustrator

It's different from photoshop. Photoshop is for editing/manipulation/etc. photos. Illustrator is for illustrating things. Use both depending on what you want to do.

Illustrator uses vector rendering (lines/shapes) and Photoshop uses rasterisation (pixels).

They are two very different animals for two very different things. If you are gonna use Illustator make sure you use CS6 as its now using the Mercury engine that supports 64-bit. Anything older is running 32-bit and will cause issues once it peaks out in RAM.

Also you can illustrate in Photoshop. Its not just for editing/manipulation/etc. As a matter of fact most professional illustrator/artists use Photoshop or Painter to create art.

Photoshop User Club House

Well Photoshop can do many more things than just "adjust" photos or run filters for effect. You can render fine art without using a photo or a filter. Illustrator is a vector based program as were Photoshop uses rasterization. Illustrator is severely limited by many things. Photoshop isnt as limited. Its uses are far more than what Adobe lists.

I use Photoshop professionally everyday. I can honestly tell you that looking at the club house here you guys got your just scratching the surface of this program. Ill be more than happy to elaborate if youd like?

By the way I dont mean to sound conceded. I just wish someone with a little experience would have helped me when I started. I enjoy helping people learn Photoshop. Its fun!
