Windows 10: Can not activate Windows 10/11

Hi,I have a digital Windows 10 license upgrade from Windows 7. Some years ago I switched to Linux and used Windows only in virtual machines. I was able to activate Windows on that VMs somehow with a bit of patience. The problem now I have a new Windows 11 workstation. I want to activate Win11 with my license which obviously didn't work. Now what I already tried: - directly activate Win11 with and without the option of changed system hardware - create a Win10 VM and try to activate it, that also didn't work plan was to activate it upgrade it to Win11 to have a Win11 license - use my Win7

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack
