Windows 10: Can not download Whatsapp or any other apps from the Microsoft Store suddenly.

I tried updating my Whatsapp after a long time and it said "There has been an error." showing the retry button. I tried downloading another random app and then another and realized that there is some problem with the store or my pc. I tried following multiple tutorials, none of which worked. I tried restarting my PC, nothing worked. I also tried uninstalling an app and tried to download it again and failed. Is there a problem with my PC? Is there no other way other than resetting my entire PC? I have done all of the suggested methods, even gone as far as creating new users on the PC but im kee
