Windows 10: can not find bitlocker recovery key in my account. What do I do?

I updated my windows and the system is asking for bitlocker recovery key. I have checked my micorsoft accounts and it's saying there is not bitlocker recovery key for my account. I think my problem has got to do with me using my personal laptop for office work. The system was work joined. Now it's being removed from my office network but still the bit locker screen still persist. My office says they can't see any bitlocker for my system. Need help

No, no other accounts.

What puzzles me is why the Bitlocker recovery key is not listed on the microsoft account, but there is a recovery key listed there for a computer I do not recognise.

I have several laptops but only the HP Envy has had Bitlocker on it. So what key is this on my account? And why isn't the Envy key there?
