I have used windows 10 with this keyboard for a very long time.

then i tried to install the intellitype software and I get this message

I have downloaded the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center

and it can't see or recognize my keyboard.

I have checked the list of supported keyboards and I do not

see my keyboard listed.

So how do i get my keyboard to working again?

the keyboard is a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000 model 1045

the basics of the keyboard work typing letters and numbers.

it is all of the special keys are not working the keys i could program.

i have unplugged it from one usb into another with no success

it needs the Intellitype drivers installed which Windows will not allow.

I understand that the Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000 is not working;

What is the exact model and manufacturer of your motherboard?

Initially I recommend that you check that Windows 10 is fully updated;

Press Windows key + i and go to Update and Security;

Click Check for updates and do ALL pending updates;

After making sure Windows is up to date, disconnect the USB receiver and plug it into another USB port;

Remembering that keyboards and mice do not need additional software to perform their basic functions;
