Windows 10: can not install ryzen driver nor adrenalin software win 10 and 11

I have Ryzen 5 5600G on my machine. Windows is installing its drivers by force removing and making adrenalin software unusable and updates from amd impossible. I tried to prevent driver installation which appeared as windows update patch or whatever without any luck, it was installed despite my action to pause updates. This is happening on win 11 as well on win 10.Why microsoft is forcing installing drivers when I have adrenalin software installed and everything in perfect condition and working? At a loss with Windows Update in 11 and latest version of AMD VGA driver/Adrenalin Software

Okay guys, please help as this is driving me nuts! The issue is that Windows Update (Windows 11) keeps updating my APU VGA driver for the 5700G. I use the Adrenalin Software and get the driver and app directly from AMD. When Windows updates it, it renders the Adrenalin software useless since it is no longer compatible with the driver in use (because the one Windows "updates" to is an older driver). Now, before anyone recommends turning off driver updates in Windows System, that isn't working. Also, I cannot edit the group policy for the Display Driver since that also prevents the Adrenalin Software from updating the driver. Has anyone got any other suggestions? Thank you.

The current AMD driver for the 5700G is 30.0.21017.1000 and Windows update seems to think it is 30.0.13014.8

 

Win 11/Alienware M15 R5 Ryzen Ed - software install blocked

Greetings all,

I have Win 11 on Alienware M15 R5 Ryzen Ed. When i try to install software from work, Acrobat PDF and add-on, installation is block. I have tried on both personal and work profiles, block from installing. Both have are adm rights. I have check "apps", access from "everywhere" (unknown sources). I have enable developers mode, nothing there.

Software is Acrobat XI Pro, have product key, works on Win 10/work laptop. Tried "run as adm", same error, block from installing for my safety.

Any suggestions would be VERY helpful!

 

AMD Releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 18.5.1 WHQL Drivers

AMD today released Radeon Software Adrenalin 18.5.1 WHQL drivers. These are the first WHQL-certified drivers from the company for Windows 10 April 2018 Update, complying with WDDM 2.4, and support not just AMD Radeon discrete GPUs, but also Ryzen "Raven Ridge" APUs with integrated Radeon Vega graphics. The drivers support Microsoft PlayReady 3.0 DRM on "Polaris" GPUs.

Besides these features, Radeon Software Adrenalin 18.5.1 WHQL comes with optimization for "Ancestors Legacy," with up to 6 percent higher frame-rates at 1080p, measured with an RX Vega 56, and up to 13 percent higher frame rates on an RX 580 (8 GB) at 1080p. The update fixes HBCC not resetting to default value when "Restore Factory Defaults" option is used in Radeon Settings. It also addresses ReLive streaming to Facebook intermittently failing; Netflix users experiencing display corruption on "Polaris" multi-GPU systems, abnormally high game load times in "Destiny 2," and fixes for screen tearing observed on FreeSync displays with performance metrics enabled.
