Windows 10: Can not log into any MS accounts or Services.

Hey all. I am unable to log into any MS accounts or services on my desktop. I am currently writing this from my laptop where I am not encountering this issue. I am unable to update windows, sign into onedrive, gamepass, office 365 etc. I get various error codes, most either mentioning too many requests even on the first attempt of the day or that there is an issue and I should try again later. I have followed most of the suggested fixes. I have adjusted my date and time to be automatic and synced. I have logged out, and was unable to log back in, even though my log in/password are correct.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

With regard to your concern, we suggest that you change the account as a local user and add another Microsoft account. To do that, please follow the steps below.

• Go to Settings and click on Accounts.
• Under Your email and accounts, click on Sign in with the local account instead.
  
• Type in the account password.
• You may change the account name and add a password.
• Once logged off, log back in.
• Go back to Your email and accounts, click on Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.

How to switch Windows log-in from MS account to local account

I did as suggested and got very close to it but see below:

- - - Updated - - - Despite the error message, I could log back in with the password for my local account!! Thank you very much for your very effective suggestion. I posted the above because of the error message, but after all, the error message could be in error.*Wink
