Windows 10: Can not login with domain account when computer is disconnected

dears we have a company that works with Microsoft environment we have active directory and domain controller these days some of users they can't use there laptops out of office until they connect the laptops to vpn via local account user , after that they sign in using domain account

On our other domain joined laptop, (ones without a local account) the domain account remains ready to login to. Is that cached?

 

How can I get this mapped drive to reauthenticat at login

I'm trying to get this mapped drive on an xp machine to reauthenticate when the computer reboots or is logged back in. The account the user uses is on a domain that is currently unavailable (server failure). The physical drive being mapped is on the other server which has the other domain here.

Now i can login as another user i create on the domain, check reconnect at login no problem. But the next day files won't open unless she clicks the drive and enters the user password there. its not a big intervention, but id like it to be seemless.

Suggestions?

I suggest you to try the below steps to remove the user account from your computer.

  Login to your computer through administrator account.
  
• 
  Press Windows key + r and type
  netplwiz, hit Enter.
  
• 
  Select the user account, you want to remove.
  
• 
  Click on the Remove button.
