    Can not open calendar

With a new update, I'm no longer able to open the calendar that is on my desktop. I used this calendar separately from my outlook calendar for personal appointments, travel, etc. to keep it clean and easy to read. With the new update, all 'events' I created on the desktop calendar did not transfer to my outlook calendar. It says to export data, however when I click export, a screen populates for my documents but there is no save button. I have tried for hours trying to reach support for Microsoft but was unable each time. 0/10 for Microsoft for being able to get timely support.

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Can not open calendar :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Mail and Calendar will not open

Hi, I'm having the same issue, neither mail nor calendar open. I've uninstalled, ran the troubleshooter, done all the steps you suggested and still nothing! Any other suggestions?

    Regards,

    Rory

    Can not open calendar

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hey Shawn,
I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
    Go figure!
