Windows 10: Can not rename Network system object Windows 11

The Network desktop icon was somehow renamed to a PDF file I had downloaded and since deleted. I can't rename the Network desktop icon - under "show more options" there is no option to rename. there is an option to rename my computer, and other desktop icon folders. Only the Network system object is affected and can't be renamed. Also in file explorer the PDF name in question has replaced "Network." It can't be renamed there either. I've tried logging out and logging back in, windows updates, restarting, deleting certificates. Nothing yet has fixed it. I've tried finding the spot where

Windows 11 file moving after renaming

In previous version of Windows, I would rename a file, and click on the next file, to stay in the same position in the list. However, I've found with Windows 11, when I rename a file, and click on the next file, it follows the renamed file to the new position in the list. This is very annoying when renaming a batch of files.

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?

How to rename the default folder "3D Objects" to "Work"?

Hi,

I am not a graphics expert or have nothing to do with 3D modelling and hence have no use for the folder name "3D objects".

I would rather rename it to something useful like "Work"

please can you assist me in this?

I followed these steps:

I need change in the path name too, as when after changing the label, when i opened the folder in command prompt, the path name had 3D objects.

i have reverted the changes done by me.
