Windows 10: Can not sign into my computer

I was trying to log in but it said that I'm not able to use my pin but it said that I could set it up but when I click it nothing happens so I tried logging in with my password but it didnt work so then I changed my password through my phone and typed it in but it still didn't work. I also tried pressing forgot my password but nothing happens when you click it. I looked up how to fix this and it all said the press shift and click the power button to restart but when I do that and click an option like restart computer it asks for my password which doesnt work no matter what password I put in. I

• Open Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.
• Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Once signed in with your Microsoft account on your computer, try signing into the Windows Store app.

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
